Content & Marketing
Our department serves to expand YME’s presence and engagement with a wider community. We work with other departments to create relevant content, publicising event opportunities and providing relevant information via our social media platforms and website.
President / Vice President
As the spearhead of YME-UK, we work to set clear paths and goals for the organisation as a whole. We oversee the management and progress of every department, providing guidance and feedback during throughout the year.
Events & Projects
Our department is responsible for brainstorming ideas, planning events, sourcing resources, and managing logistics to ensure that every event runs smoothly. Through the various events hosted throughout the year, we hope to provide opportunities to Malaysian youth exploring the STEM field.
Finance & Sponsorship
Our team takes charge of all financial duties, including the production of event-specific financial reports and expenses made on behalf of the organisation. We also work to communicate transparently, reaching out to potential sponsors and hosting networking sessions with our current sponsors.
Human Resources
Our first priority is the welfare of our officers and members. Throughout our tenure, we work to organise activities to improve officer relations, and are in charge of officer recruitment. We also manage any administrative duties, such as the upkeep of the YME Members' database and the drafting of email updates to our members.
Secretarial & Operations
Our department has three main areas of focus: documentation, outreach and publication. We work heavily in the compilation and organisation of all official documents, and in the production of the YME Insider, a bi-weekly newsletter sent out to all YME members. Additionally, we represent the main point of contact between YME and our affiliates.
